RC Racing Website - Radio Shack XMODS

I currently only have one Radio Shack XMODS that I race, which is a blue Mustang, which is pictured above. This car is four-wheel drive as well as having an upgraded main board that is running at 2.4GHz. I prefer the converted Mustang over the stock XMODS. This is due to the superior control that you have over the car with a 2.4GHz radio, which I currently use the Kyosho Perfex EX-5UR ASF Radio. I have gotten rid of all of my other XMODS in favor of the converted one that I have. Most of the racers are not willing to put the $80 or so into the upgraded main board for a vehicle that originally was only around $50, but I think that it was well worth it. As this is my only four-wheel-drive vehicle, I believe that is the reason that I enjoy driving this vehicle so much.
