Ender 3 Pro - Printer Upgrades
Ender 3 Pro - First Project
I had been testing the Ender 3 Pro for some time, but decided that rather than specific printer upgrades, I would do a somewhat external upgrade. I bought the Creality Fireproof and Dustproof 3D Printer Enclosure from Amazon. I wanted to see if having the enclosure would improve upone the consistance of the prints. For my first print job, I used the standard settings that everyone would end up using to print out a Calibration Cube, which I downloaded from ThingiVerse. I used 50° C for the bed temperature and 200° C for the extruder. The photo in figure 1 is that print from before installing the enclosure and figure 2 is after. I then had the idea that I would change my defaults for the next two tests, which I did. I choose to use 60° C for the bed temperature, but still used 200° C for the extruder temperature. In figure 3 you will see those settings with the fan on and figure 4 shows those settings with the fan turned on.
