Walton Hills International Raceway (Racing Rules)
Rules and Regulations

- Track will be open starting at 7:00 pm.
- If an earlier time is availble, this will be anounced via email prior to race day
- Open practice will run from the time of arival until qualifying, which will begin at 7:30 pm.
RACE FORMAT
Qualifying
- There will be ONE qualifying run for each class.
- Each qualifier will last for 1 minute.
- The qualifying order will be determined randomly by the drawing of pills, which shall be at directly upon entering the track.
- Top Qualifier (TQ) will be awarded to the racer with the highest lap count for a single heat.
- In the event of a tie, the order will be determined by the Mean times of the drivers
- There will be a 5 minute break time between qualifying and the first main to run.
Mains
- All classes Two Mains of either 5-, 8- or 12-minutes (determined at the time of qualifying), NO bump up.
- A-Main will have as many drivers as possible, but will not exceed four.
- All other mains will have no less than two drivers and will not exceed four drivers.
- The amount of drivers for each main will be determined after all of the drivers have qualified to provide a balanced race experience.
Classes
- Classes shall include Kyosho Mini-Z Open, Kyosho Mini-Z Spec and Formula 1
- Other classes can/will be run after the three main classes have been run
- There will be a 10 minute break time between classes
MOTOR
Stock Motor(s)
- Only the Kyosho Mini-Z XSPEED 41 Brushless Motor (4100KV) is required for the Spec class
- The Kyosho Stock Motor (MZ9P) is the required motor for the Formula 1 class
- The modified class is open for any modification/motor available
GENERAL RULES
Sportsmanship
Proper manners and good sportsmanship are expected from all drivers at all times. It is important to understand that general bad
behavior like cursing, intentional bad driving, etc, will not be accepted and can result in a driver being penalized, disqualified or even asked to leave in
extreme cases.
All participants will be expected to attend the drivers’ meeting, which shall start at 7:15 pm on race days. All drivers will be expected to understand and
comply with each rule by the time they leave the driver’s meeting. Ask any questions at this time.
If there is a rules dispute between drivers it must be brought to the attention of the race director (Denny). The
officials at the track will do their best to resolve any issue to the satisfaction of everyone.
Kyosho Mini-Z Spec Class

- Kyosho Mini-Z VE (Not Pro version)
- Body: Audi R8 LMS (for mid-motor setup)
- Motor:

- Front: offset 2 (plastic rims only)
- Rear: offset 3 (plastic rims only)
- T-Plate
- Stock T-plates are approved
- Radio: EX5 UR (for Mini-Z), EX6 or the EX6R
- EX5 UR: Speed Setting: 32 (For radio number 13)
- EX6 and EX6R: Speed Setting: 70
- Tires (PN Racing)
- Batteries: Duracell 900MaH
- Charger: PowerEx MH-C9000 (optional)
